2026 Jeep Wrangler Trims Explained: 2-Door vs 4-Door
Choose the body style first, then choose the trail hardware and everyday comforts you need. The two-door and four-door lineups are different. The tables below keep them separate, including the special editions recorded in our 2026 factory guide.

A practical way to narrow the choice
Choose the body you will use
Compare passenger access, cargo needs and your parking routine in the actual two-door and four-door vehicles. The two-door lineup below does not include Sahara or the V8 four-door editions.
Choose the trail hardware deliberately
Willys and Rubicon are different starting points. The guide records a rear locker for four-door Willys and front/rear locking differentials with 4:1 Rock-Trac low range for four-door Rubicon. Match the equipment to the routes you expect to drive.
Check comfort and roof choices separately
Sahara includes heated front seats in the stated four-door configuration; Rubicon lists them through a Convenience Group. A trail badge, a screen size and a roof type each describe a different part of the Jeep.
The selected highlights below describe standard equipment, not every feature or available package. Trim illustrations can show optional equipment. Use the interactive comparison for package details; use VIN comparison for an individual vehicle.
Jeep Wrangler 2-Door: 5 trims
Two-door, 3.6L V6 with six-speed manual. Optional 2.0L turbo and eight-speed automatic equipment is shown separately. The Rubicon X turbo/automatic configuration includes 35-inch tires; the manual V6 does not.

Questions that change the buying decision
Is Sahara available as a two-door in this guide?
No. The verified 2026 two-door lineup here is Sport, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon and Rubicon X. The four-door lineup is listed separately below.
Does every Rubicon have 35-inch tires?
No. The guide records standard 33-inch tires for the regular Rubicon. Tire upgrades depend on the exact body, engine, transmission and package. The two-door Rubicon X turbo/automatic configuration has different tire equipment from its manual-V6 starting configuration.
Will a 12.3-inch screen tell me whether the Jeep has navigation or a front trail camera?
No. Compare the radio/navigation specification and the camera row separately. For example, the two-door Rubicon X records navigation and an integrated off-road camera, while the regular Rubicon lists its front camera through a Technology Group with its stated requirements.
Should I buy a Sahara or a Rubicon for daily driving?
Compare what you would use and what you would pay for. Sahara and Rubicon differ in comfort and trail equipment; drive the actual tire and roof combinations on the roads you use. Our dedicated Sahara-versus-Rubicon guide explains the equipment trade-offs.
Can I apply these specifications to a used or modified Wrangler?
Only after checking its own model year and configuration. An original window sticker describes the factory build; installed tires, suspension, bumpers or roof may have changed. Inspect the vehicle and compare its VIN-specific evidence.
Ask for a demonstration of your must-haves
Ask to see the tire size marking, roof operation, seating access and the equipment controls that matter to you. A parked walkaround can show hardware without attempting an off-road maneuver.
