Ventilation, heat and massage are separate seat features. If you want more than one, check each one on the exact vehicle instead of relying on a trim badge or a leather interior.
What ventilated seats do
Ventilated seats move air through the seat surface to improve comfort. In the system described in Mopar’s owner instructions, fans circulate passenger-compartment air through perforations in the upholstery. That is different from assuming a seat has its own refrigerated air supply.
You might call them cooled seats or air-conditioned seats when searching. Check the manufacturer’s wording and try the system yourself: those everyday terms do not establish a particular cooling technology. Cabin air conditioning, heated seats and perforated leather by themselves are not proof of seat ventilation.
What to check for massage
Look for an explicit massage feature and find out which seating positions receive it. Power adjustment, lumbar adjustment and memory settings should not be treated as interchangeable with massage. They may appear alongside it, but they describe different functions.
For example, Ram’s 2026 RHO feature page describes available front-seat ventilation and massage. “Available” means you still need to check the particular truck’s equipment; it does not prove every RHO in a search has both. Package contents and availability also need the correct model year.
Build a precise search
Try “Ram 1500 with ventilated and massaging seats,” then add your budget or another must-have. Keep both seat requirements if both matter. A result with ventilation confirmed and massage unconfirmed is a vehicle that needs another check, not a confirmed match for both features.

Try the seats before deciding
Ask for a demonstration of the driver and passenger seats while parked. Locate the controls, compare the available settings and sit long enough to judge comfort. On a used vehicle, confirm that the functions operate now, even when the original sticker lists them. Seat comfort is personal; a feature name alone cannot tell you whether you will enjoy it.
